Worse of Diseases

A Poem

Describes a person who allowed jealousy and envy to consume them.

She fell victim to the worse of diseases

A drop of ink to her pure heart

A blob of paint on her finished art

A spoonful of salt on her sweet tart

she fell victim to the worse of diseases

She welcomed it, let it enter as it pleases

She fostered it, allowed it to grow

Added fuel to the fire

In hopes of concealing her woe

But everyone can see it prior,

this method was bound to fail

From, “Congratulations on creating the flyer”

To, “This is something I can find anywhere”

It consumed her completely

Turned her pure heart

into something frail

She fell victim to the worse of diseases

Ruined all her friendships

and shattered them into pieces

She fell victim to the worse of diseases

She welcomed it, let it enter as it pleases

Then ended up broken into millions of tiny pieces
