The Sun Will Shine
They know you’re the sun that will shed light on their evil.
So, they block you out,
and execute your spokesmen, their people.
So that your rays never find the skies and shine.
Because your light is the cure to the diseases they spread
—the diseases they benefit from infecting others with.
But don’t you worry,
your time to shine is promised.
One day, you’ll shine so bright,
you won’t go unnoticed.
Your rays will be the nightmare
of every soldier of the darkness.
To you believing in this light,
don’t let your belief’s fire get extinguished.
And if it comes close, continue to kindle it so it ignites.
Because if you stick to the light,
it won’t blind you on the day it blinds the rest of the people who have purposely chosen to close their eyes.
